BESPOKE COOKING LESSONS
Our bespoke, cooking lessons and workshops are perfect for anyone looking to learn to cook or improve their existing culinary skills. Here at our Culinary Studio, we teach everything from the very basics all the way up to à la carte dishes and more refined cooking. Our lessons and workshops are held in a relaxed environment in our studio kitchen and are available to the individual or small groups. Our exclusive tuition ensures that you are given the attention you deserve, with a professional chef at your side every step of the way!
We prefer bespoke tuition rather than prescribed cooking courses as this allows you to tell us what you would like to learn. The bespoke element also gives you, the learner, control of the kitchen, building confidence, passion, and a sense of achievement. Before booking a lesson/workshop, we always arrange a consultation to learn a bit about you and to assist you in setting your culinary goals.
What is the difference between a lesson and a workshop?
We refer to a lesson as a short period of time, usually an hour which could take place regularly with the content ongoing if desired.
A workshop is a longer session, usually 3-4 hours and a one off! For example, learning to make bread/pasta or both!
We are very adaptable and can work with your time frame and budget.
What are the benefits of learning in a smaller kitchen?
The intimate setting of the Culinary Studio compliments the tailor-made aspect of our tuition perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and allows you to work at your own pace. Above all, it ensures that everyone taking part receives quality tuition, discovering top-chef secrets along the way.
How do I book a free consultation?

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS THINK:
Thanks to all my family for the gift voucher that gave me the chance to do something I love doing. I can recommend this experience to anyone who likes cooking and Paul is a great chef who puts you at ease and made the afternoon the more enjoyable. Thanks for all your help and guidance Paul.Graham Wilkinson
Today I had the most pleasant cooking class that I’ve ever had. It was chatting with Paul, from Apron Strings that we came up with ideas for new recipes, with no gluten, no eggs and no cow’s milk. Honestly, couldn’t recommend them more. Paul is patient and likes to learn about you to make the experience as rich as his dishes.Paula Bonning
